Bhagat Sain Ji
God Serves His Devotee
Bhagat Sain Ji worked as a barber in the court of King Raja Ram. He was also deeply devoted to God and loved serving saints and holy people.
One day, while going to perform his duty for the king, Bhagat Sain Ji met some saints.
He thought, “Serving saints is also serving God.”
So he stayed with them, offered them food, and served them with love.
Because of this, he became late for his duty at the king’s court.
Bhagat Sain Ji became worried that the king might be angry.
But according to the traditional sakhi, God took the form of Bhagat Sain Ji and went to the king’s palace Himself, performing Sain Ji’s usual service.
Later, when Bhagat Sain Ji reached the palace, he apologized for being late.
The king was surprised and said:
“But you were just here serving me.”
Bhagat Sain Ji replied:
“Maharaj, I was not here.”
Then the king understood that the Divine had come in Bhagat Sain Ji’s form to protect and honour His devotee.
The king was deeply moved by Bhagat Sain Ji’s devotion.
Message
