The Power of Innocent Faith
Bhagat Dhanna Ji was a simple farmer with a pure and innocent heart.
One day, he saw a Brahmin worshipping a stone and asked, “What are you doing?”
The Brahmin replied, “I am worshipping God. God gives us what we need.”
Dhanna Ji said, “Please give me a God too.”
The Brahmin gave him an ordinary stone.
Dhanna Ji took it home with complete faith. He prepared simple food and placed it before the stone.
He prayed, “Thakur Ji, please eat first. I will eat only after You eat.”
He waited for a long time, but nothing happened.
Still, Dhanna Ji did not lose faith. With folded hands, he prayed again and refused to eat until God accepted his offering.
Seeing his pure love and innocent devotion, God became pleased with Bhagat Dhanna Ji and blessed him with His presence.
The power was not in the stone.
The power was in Dhanna Ji’s pure heart, faith, and sincere love for God.
True devotion comes from the heart.
