Bhagat Pipa Ji was once a king of Rajasthan, living a life of wealth and comfort. But even with everything a king could have, his heart was searching for something deeper.
He eventually left his royal life and became a devoted seeker of God. Traditional accounts associate him with Bhagat Ramanand Ji, from whom he received spiritual guidance.
Bhagat Pipa Ji began to understand that God could not be found merely through wealth, outward rituals, temples, or external searching.
Through devotion and inner reflection, he realized:
“The Divine whom I was searching for outside is already present within me.”
He gave up attachment to his royal position and dedicated his life to devotion, humility, and spiritual wisdom.
His Bani teaches:
“Whatever exists in the universe also exists within the body. Whoever searches within discovers it.”
Message
Do not search for God only outside yourself.
Purify your heart and look within — the Divine is already there.
